Crest Project Management is headed up by two Directors, Gavin Baxter and Stephen Murphy.  The Directors bring 
their own strengths and experiences to this dynamic company, offering Crest’s clients their combined expertise 
and insight into our region’s construction and development.

Gavin Baxter

Director

B.Sc (Civil Engineering); Project Management Diploma; Property Development Diploma; QBCC Open Licence

Gavin has over 29 years’ experience in the development industry with a strong project management focus across most sectors including residential and commercial developments, retail, hospitality, education and distressed projects. 
His key strength is attention to detail, and he has a long track record of delivering high quality projects within budget by effectively organising, communicating and managing all resources to meet stakeholder expectations. Gavin's key experience covers: 
- Project Management 
- Design Management 
- Development Management 
- Contract Administration 
- Cost Management and Control 
Gavin’s approach is hands-on throughout the project life-cycle. He is a natural relationship builder with a deep understanding of internal & external stakeholder management & effective communication across a broad team. He believes the most important tools in delivering successful projects is setting the project brief, building the team, and leading the project.

Stephen Murphy

Director

B.Sc (Hons) Quantity Surveying; Member of RICS;  Member of AIQS; QBCC Project Management Services Licence

Stephen has over 21 years’ experience in the construction industry having worked on a wide range of projects in the United Kingdom and Australia. 
As both an experienced Project Manager and Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Stephen provides a wide range of services including: 
- Project Management 
- Design Management 
- Superintendency 
- Cost Management 
- Quantity Surveying 
- Financier Services  
- Project Feasibility Studies 
Stephen has a high level of experience in the residential, education and commercial sectors and manages projects from inception through to completion to tight commercial & program controls. 
He has built strong relationships with several local schools, working closely with them to deliver new buildings and refurbishments, on cost, on program and within the constraints of continuing school operations.

Lee Crisp

Senior Project Manager

B.Sc Construction Management; QBCC Open Builders Licence

With over 40 years experience in the Construction and Development Industry, Lee brings a broad range of knowledge to the team. His strong construction-based background provides a detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of delivering complex projects.

Lee’s detailed experience has been gained in the planning, design and delivery of all ranges of projects including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, defence, institutional and infrastructure projects.

Adrian Segaert

Senior Project Manager

Master of Business Administration; Diploma of Building & Construction; 
Diploma of Project Management 

Adrian has over 20 years’ experience working in the construction industry, and has a strong understanding of engineering principles, procurement strategy, contract management and consultant management. 
Adrian uses his skills in leadership, project management and stakeholder management together with his problem solving abilities to provide reliable and efficient project and programme delivery.

Lachlan Turnell

Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Bachelor of Construction Management & Quantity Surveying

Lachlan has over 7 years’ experience, working on multiple, mixed use residential and commercial construction projects. His skillsets have been developed working with different stakeholders from the early Design and Development stage, Planning and Approval stage through to Procurement and Administration of Contracts both with the client & subcontractors.
Key strengths include: strong negotiation skills, clear communicator, time efficient, strategic planner, problem solver and attention to detail.

Otto Damant

Junior Contract Administrator

Bachelor of Construction Management

Otto graduated from Bond University in 2024. Whilst studying Otto also worked full time and gained hands on experience with local construction companies. He has extensive experience with contract administration, assessment of contractor claims coordination of plans, documentation and stakeholder liaison. 
Otto will continue developing his understanding and knowledge in the construction industry and brings his drive, commitment and diligence to his role.

Sara Friend

Office Manager

Sara is an integral part of our Team and has over 35 years administration experience with the last 16 years working within the project management and development industry. 
Sara provides administrative, accounts and clerical assistance to the Team including contract administration support and office management.
